Derim Houses designed in İzmir Çiğli region were designed with 5 floors in mind. In the building, different volumes were created in square meters. While the volumes created on floors are the same in 3 and 4 floors; It differs in 2 floors and 5 floors. This differentiation has been interpreted as the combination of different constructions in the mass, surrounded by more than one generation in building design. The openings on the facades in relation to the volumes within the mass surrounded by belts are designed in a proportional and specific system. In terms of generation; It is expressed as a tie in the form of a strip of wood or metal that is put around it to reinforce the strength of something. In this context, the horizontal belts formed on the façade strengthened the perception of the mass to the vertical, and a mass fiction close to the horizontal plane was created with horizontal lines against the rising gauge and vertical orientation.
